GetItBk is a lost-and-found platform created to help people report, search for, and recover lost and found items.

Losing an important item can be stressful. A phone, wallet, identification document, passport, bag, keys, luggage, or other personal belongings can be difficult to recover when you don't know where to start. GetItBk provides a simple online place where people can share information about lost and found property and increase the chance of reconnecting items with their owners.

Our mission is simple:

What You Can Do on GetItBk

Report a Lost Item

If you have lost something, you can create a lost-item report and provide useful information such as the item description, approximate location, date, and other identifying details.

Report a Found Item

Found someone's belongings? You can create a found-item report so the owner has a better chance of discovering that their property has been found.

Search for Lost and Found Items

Visitors can search available listings to see whether an item matching their lost property has been reported.

Share Lost-and-Found Information

GetItBk can also help communities, organizations, businesses, travelers, schools, transport services, and other groups share information about lost and found property.

Our goal is to build a useful online resource where people in Uganda can report lost property, report found property, and search for belongings that may have been recovered.
